Preparing your baby properly helps create a calm, sleepy session — and allows me to safely capture those timeless poses new parents love.

Here’s how you can help set your session up for success:

1. Gently Handle Baby in the Days Before

In the days leading up to your session, spend time gently moving your baby’s arms and legs, changing positions, and allowing them to be undressed briefly. This helps them get used to being handled, which makes posing much easier during your newborn photography session in Dallas or Prosper, TX.

2. Keep Baby Awake the Morning of the Session

On the morning of your session, try to keep baby awake as much as possible. Giving them a bath, washing their hair, playing with their feet, or letting them hang out diaper-free can help gently tire them out.
